🚚 Delivery

Delivery costs depend on your location relative to our hubs in Elgin (North & Islands) and Glasgow (Central Belt). Typical delivery costs range from £50 to £100, regardless of how many heaters you order.

🔌 Installation

Installation costs vary depending on location and the amount of work required. Many customers find it more cost‑effective to use local electricians, but if that’s not an option, we can usually arrange installation for you

🔶 Heater Types

🔳 Standard Heater (S Series – 600 mm high)

Our most commonly used heater. Ideal for standard rooms and typical installations.

🟫 Low‑Level Heater (N Series – 380 mm high)

Designed for rooms with low window sills, such as conservatories or garden rooms.

🧱 Vertical Heater (H Series)

Used when horizontal wall space is limited. A practical solution where width is restricted.

🔶 Different Lengths, Same Heat Output

📏 Two lengths, same kW

Some heaters offer two different lengths that produce the same kilowatt output. For example, a 2.0 kW heater may be available in 950 mm or 1250 mm lengths.

If you have the wall space, the longer heater usually looks better and distributes heat more evenly.

🔶 Minimum Window‑Sill Clearance

🪟 Window clearance requirements

If installing under a window:

  • S Series (600 mm high): minimum sill height 690 mm
  • N Series (380 mm high): minimum sill height 450 mm

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to advise.

🔶 Room Type Considerations

🏡 Conservatories & glass rooms

Our calculator is based on standard rooms with average insulation. Rooms with large areas of glass — such as conservatories — may require a slightly more powerful heater than the calculator suggests.

If in doubt, please contact us.
