Shetland

We have been supplying our energy efficient  German electric  heaters to Shetland  ever since we started over six years ago,

Ideally suited for the often  harsh Shetland environment, we had been planning to do one of our mini exhibitions in  Lerwick, this Winter,  but have had to put that on hold due to hospital treatment.  Our heater sales in Shetland have not been as buoyant as in Orkney over the years, but we are keen to remedy that.

These  electric heaters are certainly  about the best as far as energy efficiency  and quality of heat that we know of. Only  surpassed in terms of energy efficiency by our Far Infrared heaters  which can be seen by following the the link below.

 In our opinion energy efficient electric heating is the future of domestic heating in the UK. This is particularly relevant now especially in Shetland  with the reliance on wind turbines, and oil, with no natural gas.

Delivery to Shetland is straightforward, we have easy access for artics here in Elgin  and usually Shetland Line or similar will  pick them up. Generally we have found it more cost effective and simpler if the customer pays the haulage cost and we just quote collected Elgin.

I have a history with Shetland  going back many years years. Originally as a fresh faced young salesman with Elgin City Sawmills supplying timber to many  of the builders and joiners on the islands,  then for 22 years as Sales Director of the Roof Truss Company Elgin,  where we supplied roof trusses and timber frame for many  building projects in Shetland. A keen yachty  for 10  years, have often crewed up to Lerwick to get to Norway and never quite made it!
